Task of the Month: Graks

The Graks are the rock chewers. They work closely with the Rigs to generate different particle sizes, from pebbles and rubble, to sand silt and clay. The Grak in the unity's name is Huaca. They are a large semi-translucent Task, human in shape, but with a huge mouth to crush the rocks in. They have sharp claws on their hands to dig into rock and remove chunks to chew up. They have retractable claws on their feet so they can dig in to get leverage when clawing into the rock.

Task of the Month: Yedá

Yedá are known as the sun gatherers. They use a photochemical reaction to generate the food the tasks eat, known as sun juice. They can fly using insect-like wings, and have a pitcher on their back where the sun juice is stored. The tasks use this pitcher to drink the juice, which is their only source of sustenance. Sun juice is a pale green liquid, almost as viscous as water, sweet to the taste, and contains all the nutrients the tasks need, as well as being their source of water. In The Unity each task is given a personal Yedá to accompany them. Before they shared them amongst their groups. Each of these Yedá are given a name based on the name of the task to which it is assigned by taking the second to last consonant in the name and adding that letter, followed by ii, e.g. Forgun's Yedá is named Forgungii.

Task of the Month: The Pix

A Pix is the task that trains carnivores to attack their prey. These tasks are the epitome of predators. The stealth of a tiger with and ever-changing coat, strength of a lion, faster than any animal, it runs and jumps with incredible agility, traveling along on its two legs. The forepaws have two thumbs for superior grip in the flesh of prey. They are truly a terror. That said, Rawful, the Pix chosen to be a part of The Unity of Tasks is uncharacteristically light hearted for such a noteworthy hunter. He is a true friend who loves a laugh.

Task of the Month: Feldz

The Feldz are a gentle Task who gather the water from the clouds and start the high mountain rivers and streams. They are tall and thin, until they take in a large quantity of water from the air, filling a special sack in their bodies. Sansin is the Feld called to join the Unity of tasks to try and combat The Mist. He has been helping prepare the world for more than a thousand years and is a great store of wisdom for the Tasks he works with.

Forgun

Forgun the seed planter is taken from his small taskforce and thrust into the world at large, undertaking an epic journey as a part of the unity of tasks, facing incalculable odds. Will Forgun and his task friends be able to overcome The Mist and save the world from a fate worse than death?
